TBS Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Éric Ducournau, CEO of Pierre Fabre Laboratories, as the new President of the school. He succeeds Pierre Hurstel, who held the position since 2021, and officially took office on November 4, 2025.
With campuses in Toulouse, Paris, Barcelona, and Casablanca, TBS Education is entering a new phase of its development under the leadership of a prominent business executive with deep roots in the Occitanie region.The unanimous election of Éric Ducournau by the School’s Board of Directors, with the support of the Toulouse Haute-Garonne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reflects the school’s ambition to strengthen its international presence while remaining firmly anchored in its home territory.

A graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Bordeaux and holder of a Master’s degree in Public Law, Éric Ducournau began his career in the public sector and consulting before joining Pierre Fabre Laboratories in 2000.Over more than twenty-five years, he has held key positions within the group — from General Secretary to Deputy CEO, then CEO of Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmétique, where he was appointed President in 2013.Since 2018, he has served as CEO of Pierre Fabre Laboratories, a global group operating in over 120 countries, with more than 10,000 employees and annual revenues of €3.1 billion. In July 2025, he was awarded the title of Chevalier of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour, recognizing his contribution to the health and pharmaceutical industries.
This remarkable journey, combining local commitment and international expansion, deeply resonates with TBS Education’s mission and values.

As he passes the torch, outgoing President Pierre Hurstel expressed his confidence in the school’s future:
