In the heart of the city

The 22@ project transforms the old industrial areas of Poblenou into a high-quality environment for working, living, and learning.
Companies will coexist with universities, research, training, and technology transfer centers, as well as housing, facilities, and green areas.
TBS Education moves now to this dynamic area, close to the beach neighborhood.
TBS Education’s life in Barcelona is also multiplying with the construction of the Aparto Student residence, 50 meters from the new campus. More than 700 beds await students for an unforgettable experience in the city.
The smaller dimensions of the Barcelona campus, compared to Toulouse, allows the students to have a more friendly relationship with the staff and professors at the school.

TBS WAY student association
TBS Barcelona would not be the same without the TBS WAY student association. They are the driving force behind the organization of all kinds of recreational activities that will help you to enjoy Barcelona to the full and strengthen bonds with your classmates. They also act as the right hand to the school’s staff.
A little history
TBS Barcelona, formerly ESEC, was established in 1995 by the French Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona and Toulouse Business School, then known as ESC Toulouse. Its goal was to create a business school in Barcelona that rivalled the quality of the French “Grandes Écoles”.
In 2004, Toulouse Business School (ESC Toulouse) completely absorbed ESEC, which then became its Barcelona campus. The business school in Barcelona grew so rapidly that in 2008 it moved to a new location in the heart of the city on C. Trafalgar and C. Bailén.
When ESC Toulouse was officially renamed Toulouse Business School in 2013, the Barcelona campus, which until then had been known as ESEC, also changed its name to TBS Barcelona.
Since then, the Barcelona campus has continued to grow: it began in 1997 with 45 students and today it hosts more than 700; it started with 4 employees and approximately 40 professors, and it now employs more than 40 professionals and around 160 professors; and, in 1997, the school’s students came from just 3 different countries, but today 61 different nationalities are present on campus.
Now TBS Education Barcelona campus history is taking a step forward with a new bigger and innovative campus that will open its doors in September 2022 in the 22@ district. This new campus will welcome new talents and will become the Home of Tomorrow.
