The digitization of the modern economy generates huge amount of varied data. Companies that base their growth strategy on data-driven analytics and decision-making have a competitive advantage comparing to others (See, e.g., Amazon, Facebook, Google, General Electric, Alibaba, etc.).

To improve their data-driven strategy, business companies have extensive need for data experts who can manage and analyze the vast amounts of information they collect. The MSc in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence of TBS is designed to answer this demand.

In the intersection of business, data science and Information Systems, our program offers the opportunity to learn how to take advantage of the potential of data analysis to solve business challenges.

Students complete our program with: technical skills in data sciences; data-driven decision-making ability; and a strategic mindset focused on data. The program is designed for students, as well as those seeking career advancement or change in the data science industry.

This program has received the CGE quality label, a national accreditation reserved for top business schools in France. The CGE label guarantees the high quality standards of the program and allows international students to continue to work on French territory after their studies to further fine-tune their expertise.

This MSc is a unique Big Data program. Students can combine business knowledge with the technical skills necessary to use analytic tools effectively and rise to leadership positions within companies.

With our innovative and comprehensive program, students are at the forefront of the field. Our program develops the multifaceted talent required to both manage and govern data as well as use it to drive business decisions and actions.

The program encompasses Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Optimization, large-scale Data Management and more. Our MSc is designed for a broad audience: students with a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics background, but also tailored to varying professional backgrounds. It is a program with a relatively short duration (16 months). Thus, in a shorter time, students can get a really sought-after job, and they can advance more quickly.

Due to the increasing interest in Business Analytics in many sectors (e.g. IT, banking, aeronautics, etc.) graduates of our program will be very much in demand. High demand means higher salaries, and a variety of options. Graduated students will have the choice within various job profiles (Financial Analyst, Market Research analyst, Statistician, etc.).

Within our teaching staff, 90% of faculty involved hold a PhD. All professors have expertise in quantitative subjects. Our partnerships with prestigious companies are a major advantage for job perspectives.


Program Design

This program consists of five learning experiences rigorously designed to develop your managerial and operational skills in your field of professional expertise.

Total number of hours: 450h

8 Course units:

1. Analytical Theory, Methods and Models
Objective: The successful student will be able to describe theory and methodology of statistical, econometrics and business models.

2. Big Data Analytics
Objective : The successful student will be able to prepare the data, to build and estimate models and to extract insight from huge structured and non-structured datasets.

3. Programming
Objective: The successful student will be able to construct their own codes to manage and analyze vast amounts of information.

4. Artificial Intelligence
Objective: The successful student will be able to implement artificial intelligence techniques to get insight from vast amounts of information.

5. Data Management
Objective: The successful student will be able to process non-structured, semi-structured or structured information coming from many different sources.

6. Data Project Management
Objective: The successful student will be able to construct, monitor and control a project around data.

7. International Perspectives in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence
Objective: The successful student will be able to build their own professional network and to facilitate their professional international integration.

8. Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Research Methods and Dynamics
Objective: The successful student will be able to write a high-quality scientific report on a topic related to data sciences, business analytics or artificial intelligence.

Management and leadership skills
Objective: Acquire nine key competencies to lead teams and manage your professional career.

Career agility
Objective: Reveal your talent and make evolutionary choices in accordance with your deep aspirations.

The Career Starter is a support center that helps students define and develop their career project. Through several lectures, workshops, individual tests and coaching sessions, a specialist will support each student from their first questions to looking for the right internship or job.
Coaching: we support you in your reflection on your skills, strengths and areas for improvement. Through personality tests and individual coaching, we link this self-knowledge to your ambitions and career choices.
Personal Branding: you will participate in workshops to build your CV and e-portfolio to best highlight your experiences and skills for your future employers.

For the account of prestigious TBS partner companies, students, coached by the professors, carry out a strategic diagnosis aiming to analyze its competitive position, then propose strategic and operational recommendations to meet its challenges.

Objective: Increase your brain agility to anticipate and solve complex business issues in your field of expertise.

Each student in this MSc program is required to write a dissertation which addresses a current issue in management from an academic or professional perspective in his field of expertise.

The student thus contributes to the study, analysis, formalization and abstraction of the identified problem.


Students may carry out an internship in the company of their choice for a period of 3 to 6 months. This internship is not mandatory for the validation of the diploma.

Early Bird Discount

You can get a 10% discount on your tuition fees if you apply and pay before December 31st. Please note that this is the only discount which may be cumulated with others.

If you have a brother or sister who is currently enrolled in a TBS program, you will receive a 15% discount on your tuition fees.

Diversity Discount

You can get this 10% discount based on your grades and overall profile.

Partner University Discount

Students from TBS partner universities and/or students having spent one semester at a TBS campus as part of an exchange program receive a 10% discount on their tuition fee.

Couples Discount

If you’re married/have a child together and both apply for a TBS program for the same year, you will receive a 20% discount on the tuition fees of one of the programs.

External Scholarships

A number of French associations also award scholarships to international students studying in France:

Eiffel Scholarship 

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program is managed by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education establishments to attract top foreign students to enroll in French Master’s and PhD courses.

The application process for the Eiffel scholarship is extremely selective. Candidate students must be non-French and be less than 25 years old while they must prove excellent academic results. This scholarship can award up to €1,000 per month to successful candidates.
