Designed for Bachelor and Master-level students, our Winter School offers a wide array of experiential learning opportunities in business, management, and international communications. Winter School is open to students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at universities worldwide who are particularly interested in business, management & communication from both Global and European prespectives. Students from a partner university of TBS Education are eligible for a discount. Courses & visits will be 100% in English, so a minimum of a B2 level of English is required.
To apply, you will need to submit a cover letter, a CV or resume, proof of English proficiency, your most recent transcripts, and a copy of your passport.
After being accepted and payments processed, an official acceptance letter will be available for you to download, which can be used for visa applications. Students will also be invited to participate in a Pre-Arrival Webinar about one week before the start of the program to share more details about their arrival, accommodations, and the timetable. This is also a great opportunity to virtually connect with others in the program. A WhatsApp group managed by the TBS Education team will be made available around one week before the program begins to facilitate communication and help students connect with one another. Students can expect a packed schedule but still have free time most evenings and a Sunday funday to themselves.

Based on the Responsible Business Model Canvas first conceived by A. Osterwalder and Y. Pigneur, and then perfected by M. Home to the global headquarters of Airbus, Toulouse is widely recognized as Europe’s aerospace capital and a thriving hub of technological innovation. With over 3,000 companies in the information technology sector, the city is fast earning its reputation as the “French Silicon Valley.”
Nicknamed “La Ville Rose” because of their distinctive pink-hued architecture, Toulouse isn’t just about tech. The city boasts a rich cultural heritage, including the historical sights of the Canal du Midi, the Romanesque Saint-Sernin Basilica, and the renowned Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Jacques. Also, just one hour away is the UNESCO World Heritage site of the medieval city of Carcassonne.
TBS Education’s Paris campus is well located in the 15th arrondissement and only a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Students will stay in shared accommodations about 25 minutes by foot to the campus. Cafes, shops, metro stations, and other iconic Parisian landmarks all within easy walking distance.
The TBS Education team will share their top recommendations to help students make the most of Parisian life and French culture. Each student will also receive a printed Student Guide tailored to Paris, filled with tips on transportation, dining, sightseeing, and local experiences.
TBS Education’s Toulouse campus is in the city center and just a 15-minute walk to the Capitole building. Students will stay in private accommodations just a few minutes from the campus. Restaurants, transportation stations, and shops are all within short walking distance. The TBS Education Team will also give their best recommendations to enjoy what the city & French culture has to offer! We’ll also give everyone a printed Student Guide specific to the city.
Understand the French corporate world and what it means for companies to do business internationally. Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to go on company visits during their course hours with their professors. These visits are picked to complement the curriculum and to help students discover fields where France excels. Students may explore a range of organizations, from iconic global leaders like the LVMH Foundation and Airbus to innovative startup incubators and dynamic PR agencies.
Throughout the program, students will immerse themselves in French history and culture through a variety of guided group activities. These experiences take place on weekdays outside of class hours and offer unique opportunities to connect with local traditions and landmarks. Activities may include a scenic cruise along the Seine River, a guided tour of the historic national opera house, French wine and cheese tastings, and a visit to a nearby medieval city featuring a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Each Saturday during the program, students will go on an organized day trip with a TBS Education representative to experience French culture outside of the program city. A private bus will be provided for the day trip leaving from the campus around 9am and returning to the campus before dinnertime. As part of the Paris program, expect to explore a historic château that hosted every French monarch from the 12th to the 19th century. For the Toulouse program, prepare to discover the breathtaking Pyrenees Mountains that stretch along the Spanish border.
The program kicks off with an orientation seminar designed to help students settle in and start building connections. You’ll meet fellow participants, the TBS Education International Relations team, and your professors, while getting acquainted with the campus and local culture. The morning features fun icebreaker activities, plus the distribution of student guides, visitor passes, and transportation cards to help you navigate the city with ease. Lunch will be provided, and classes begin that same afternoon.
To keep the momentum going, a student mixer will be held the following evening—open to all TBS Education students—offering a chance to connect with the wider campus community in a relaxed social setting.
To conclude your Winter School experience, we’ll host a memorable farewell celebration. Dress to impress for an evening of food, awards, and festivities as we toast to the friendships, experiences, and achievements of the program.
TBS Education is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by minimizing paper use and limiting packaging waste. Recycling bins are available throughout the halls, while classrooms are intentionally kept free of trash bins to promote mindful waste disposal. Students are encouraged to bring reusable cups and bottles for use at water and coffee stations. Additionally, students have opportunities to connect with fellow TBS Education peers and alumni, fostering a strong and supportive community.

The International Student Office (ISO) assists students with questions regarding the obtention of a visa, arrival inquiries and the online enrollment process. ISO also recommends all Winter School participants to take appropriate health insurance to cover them during their stay and for travel purposes.
Through visiting world heritage sites to boat rides around the city students will network with program participants, TBS Education staff and faculty. With the local guides, they will also discover the best places to eat and drink around the city!
Company visits are another essential element to the program. Students will learn how business is done in France directly from corporations and industry experts. With Q&A sessions with our corporate partners students will understand the European market and its positioning world-wide.
