Meet-ups with Senior Marketing Professionals

The MSc Brand Management & Creativity program connects students directly with industry experts from the marketing and branding sectors, who share firsthand experiences and real insights into career paths, daily work life, and salary expectations.

Beyond the structured sessions, students can network during informal "meet and greet" moments — a relaxed setting to ask questions, build connections, and gain a deeper understanding of the brand management industry.

* Profiles and companies may vary each year based on students' interests and professionals' availability.

Marketing Masterclasses

The program features two masterclasses per year on key brand management topics, including FMCG Pricing Strategy, brand collaborations, and the interplay between brands and design.

Led by prominent industry figures, these sessions deliver invaluable insights into the field. Each masterclass is followed by a networking session, giving students the opportunity to connect with industry leaders and deepen their understanding of the topics covered.

Cutting-edge Industry Certification

The program includes a preparatory course for an industry-recognized online certification, chosen from a curated list aligned with each student's career goals. This offers a specialized extension of the curriculum for those seeking a more applied or focused skill set. Examples include:

  • Python for Data Science, AI & Development
  • Statistics for Marketing
  • Social Media Marketing in Practice Specialization
  • Modern and Contemporary Art and Design Specialization
  • Agile Project Management

This selection process empowers students to tailor their learning experience and acquire skills directly applicable to their desired career path.

Optional Language Course

Make the most of your time in Barcelona by learning Spanish. The program includes an optional 40-hour beginner language course at no additional cost, fully integrated into your MSc Brand Management & Creativity timetable.

Spanish is a highly valuable asset for students planning to complete their internship in Spain, as most local companies expect a working level of the language.

Please note that this course does not provide ECTS credits and requires a minimum of 8 registered students to run.

Learning by Doing: Real-World Brand Challenges

Throughout the program, students apply classroom knowledge through hands-on projects with real organizations, tackling authentic business challenges such as brand rejuvenation, international positioning, visual identity, and product innovation.

Working in teams as a consulting or branding agency, students receive professional briefings and develop strategic, creative, and actionable solutions, concluding with presentations to industry professionals who provide direct feedback.

A prime example is the collaboration with Anis del Mono, where students took on a real brand rejuvenation challenge — developing and presenting strategic proposals to attract a younger audience, applying brand management frameworks to a live business context.

Company Visits

Gain hands-on learning experience by visiting some of the largest brands located in Barcelona, bridging classroom knowledge with real-world workplace practice.

You and your peers will engage in field trips to innovative companies closely related to marketing, brand management, and creativity, providing a global understanding of the branding world.

Launch your global career with a 6-month Internship

As part of all TBS Education MSc programs, students complete a professional internship that provides essential real-world experience and strengthens their employability. Whether conducted in France, Spain, or abroad, these internships offer the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in class, develop industry-specific skills, and build an international professional network.

Thanks to TBS Education’s strong corporate partnerships and global reputation, students can access a wide range of placements across sectors, from large multinationals to innovative startups.

During this master’s degree in brand management, you will be given the chance to complete an internship at a company in Spain or abroad for over 6 months during Year 2 of the program.

For students entering the two-year track, an optional 1- to 4-month internship can be undertaken at the end of Year 1 (May to August). This shorter placement is not compulsory but offers an opportunity to gain early professional exposure before starting the MSc year.

TBS Career Services will help you develop your skills and provide you with the professional tools you need to find the best internship to fit your career goals. You will also receive personalized coaching to get the most out of your internship experience.

Finding an internship can be difficult as it requires perseverance, autonomy, and initiative. You will receive support for this project during the Career Services workshops, which will help you boost your employability.
