The Postgraduate program in Digital Transformation at TBS Education is divided into four main modules. It utilizes a dynamic and hands-on methodology designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape.
TBS Education’s Digital Transformation program combines face-to-face teaching with online learning across 750 learner hours (30 ECTS), taught entirely in English at our Barcelona campus. The methodology is built around one goal: helping students not only understand digital change, but lead it.
Rather than treating digital transformation as a purely technical topic, the program takes a broad, multidisciplinary approach that connects social, economic, ethical and technological perspectives. The curriculum is structured into four progressive modules — Society and People, Digital Strategy and Planning, Processes and Methodologies, and Platforms and Technologies — moving students from the societal impact of digital change to the strategies, methodologies and technologies needed to drive it.
Students gain practical, job-ready knowledge of the tools shaping the digital economy, including Agile and Scrum, Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, blockchain, cybersecurity, and virtual and augmented reality — and, crucially, how and where to apply each one inside real organisations.
The approach is deliberately experiential and collaborative. Teaching draws on active learning methods such as learning-by-doing, problem- and project-based work, case studies, flipped-classroom sessions, role-play and serious games, complemented by seminars, company visits (including Barcelona Smart City and the 22@ innovation district) and applied challenges like the SAP Digital Transformation Challenge.
