TBS Education receives the 2026 AIMS Award for Pedagogical Transformation

On June 4, 2026, TBS Education was awarded the Pedagogical Transformation Prize by the Association Internationale de Management Stratégique (AIMS). This distinction recognizes The Foresight Lab Experience, an immersive learning initiative that combines the principles of serious gaming and generative artificial intelligence to train students in strategic foresight and decision-making under uncertainty.

Designed by Amadou Lô and Quentin Plantec, Associate Professors in the Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Department at TBS Education, The Foresight Lab Experience transforms a strategic foresight course into an interactive learning journey inspired by real-world professional practices.

Implemented with more than 150 participants across TBS Education programs, the initiative enables students to:

• Identify and analyze megatrends and emerging signals
• Build future-oriented scenarios in complex environments
• Strengthen their ability to make strategic decisions under uncertainty
• Use generative AI as a tool for analysis and exploration
• Translate foresight insights into actionable recommendations for organizations

Active Learning inspired by professional practice

The experience replicates the key stages of a strategic foresight consulting mission:

• Exploring signals and trends through a thematic card-based game
• Conducting simulated expert interviews powered by generative AI
• Engaging in collaborative workshops and cross-team discussions
• Producing structured deliverables
• Presenting recommendations to a fictional investment committee
• Participating in a methodological debrief to consolidate learning outcomes

This approach fosters participant engagement while developing highly sought-after professional skills, including strategic analysis, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and AI literacy.
